Marmite personalities...you like them or not as people. In my opinion no one can doubt that they (he ..Noel) have written some blinding songs

Liam is the one who cares about Paul. Noel cares about Kasabian

Re: Oasis on MOTD
Great bloke, witty, excellent songwriter and the brains behind what were certainly THE band of the 90's.

Spoke to Noel once at a Black Rebel Motorcycle Club gig in Camden in 2002. Had a brief chat at the bar about Trevor Sinclair, Citeh and West Ham. Top man with no airs and graces and rock star bullshit around him.

Re: Oasis on MOTD
Just out of interest, by what criteria would you or anybody claim that Noel Gallagher "the most successful song writer of our generation" or Oasis "the best band Britain has ever produced"?

Being bullied by your younger brother has got to hurt the pride a bit. But being part of the best band Britain has ever produced, I will let him off.

I'll add another vote with Hairy, the two men when you meet them are the opposite of their public personas.

Re: Oasis on MOTD
tommy - thats the deception of TV

Liam will shake ur hand, tell u a funny story of taking a bus to west ham as a man city away fan. Noel will laugh in ur face and mock u and then let steve the naval bodyguard take over.

Re: Oasis on MOTD
Hairy - Have listened to him on dozens upon dozens speak on talkshows over the years and he comes across as a well articulated genuinely funny person who does not take himself too seriously

"A tool" would be more suited to saying it about his brother (though growing up around the britpop era I consider Liam a rock god)

Re: Oasis on MOTD
Found Noel a bit up his own arse, Liam on the other hand couldnt have been nicer, proper top bloke

A bloke on a football internet forum telling the most successful song writer of our generation that he is a tool, I doubt Noels gonna be losing too much sleep
